Day Time Chef - Full or part time opportunities.
We are looking for a Chef (qualified or part-qualified) to join our small and welcoming catering team at our residential theology college. You will be joining a team of four: chefs and kitchen assistants, preparing meals for our residential community, and supporting lunchtime service for students, staff and guests. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their catering career in a supportive environment, or for a chef wanting a role with better work-life balance than traditional restaurant kitchens.

You must have your own transport - there is NO public transport to the site.
Successful applicants will have:
- A recognised catering qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)
- Recently qualified chefs or final-year catering students are welcome to apply
- Practical cooking skills and experience preparing food from set menus
- Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety requirements
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Rotas
Rotas are generally fixed, with occasional adjustments to cover holidays or sickness.
- Monday to Friday Shifts: Variable hours between 8am and 6.30pm
- Saturday Shift 10am to 6.30pm
- Sunday Shift 10am to 3pm
