This isn't a traditional business development role. You won't be waiting for enquiries to come in. You won't be spending your time organising coffee mornings or community events. Instead, you'll identify, develop and nurture strategic relationships with organisations and professionals who regularly influence care decisions, helping to create sustainable referral pathways for privately funded home care, live-in care, nursing and complex care services.
The Role
Reporting into the senior leadership team, you'll have the opportunity to build an entirely new commercial function, developing relationships with key organisations capable of generating long-term business opportunities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing strategic referral partnerships.
- Opening new routes to market.
- Building relationships across healthcare and adjacent sectors.
- Increasing awareness amongst key professional introducers.
- Generating privately funded home care, live-in care and complex care opportunities.
- Helping shape the future direction of this newly created role.

What We're Looking For
You'll be someone who enjoys opening doors, developing trusted relationships and identifying commercial opportunities. You'll be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-makers across healthcare and professional services. Most importantly, you'll be excited by the opportunity to build something from the ground up and play a key role in the future growth of an ambitious organisation.
