Transport Manager – Food INdustry Liverpool £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) 5am/6am – 1pm/2pm SHIFT I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Manager to join a well-established foodservice business in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership and compliance experience to take ownership of a busy transport operation. The role involves early starts, but this also means early finishes. You’ll be managing a fleet of around 40 vehicles , ensuring efficiency, compliance, and excellent service delivery. Key Responsibilities * Plan and manage daily delivery and collection schedules. * Lead, motivate, and support a team of drivers. * Ensure all vehicles are maintained and compliant. * Monitor and enforce EU and WTD regulations. * Keep accurate transport records in line with DVSA and company requirements. * Work with senior management to achieve depot targets. * Continuously improve efficiency across the transport operation. Requirements * Full Driver CPC qualification. * Multidrop prefered * Transport Manager CPC qualification. * Proven leadership experience within transport/logistics. * Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills. * Resilient, proactive, and able to work independently.
