£35,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
5am/6am – 1pm/2pm SHIFT
I\’m currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Manager to join a well-established foodservice business in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership and compliance experience to take ownership of a busy transport operation.
The role involves early starts, but this also means early finishes. You\’ll be managing a fleet of around 40 vehicles, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and excellent service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage daily delivery and collection schedules.
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of drivers.
- Ensure all vehicles are maintained and compliant.
- Monitor and enforce EU and WTD regulations.
- Keep accurate transport records in line with DVSA and company requirements.
- Work with senior management to achieve depot targets.
- Continuously improve efficiency across the transport operation.
Requirements
- Full Driver CPC qualification.
- Multidrop preferred.
- Transport Manager CPC qualification.
- Proven leadership experience within transport/logistics.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Resilient, proactive, and able to work independently.
