This is a brilliant opportunity for someone from a Technical, Quality, Specifications, Account Management or Customer Technical background who wants to move into a more customer-facing role, while still using their food safety, quality and compliance knowledge day to day.
You’ll be joining a growing food manufacturing business, supporting and developing existing customer accounts from a technical and quality perspective. This isn’t a hard sales role — it’s about becoming the trusted technical contact for key customers, understanding their requirements, resolving issues and helping identify opportunities to improve service, quality and commercial performance.
The Role
As Technical Account Manager, you’ll act as the link between the customer and the internal technical, quality, production and commercial teams. You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing and developing relationships with existing customers from a technical and quality perspective.
- Acting as the key technical contact for customer queries, complaints, specifications, audits and product-related issues.
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and consistently delivered.
- Supporting customer meetings, site visits and technical reviews.
- Reviewing trends across complaints, non-conformances and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Helping drive service levels, product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Supporting the commercial team with technical insight to help grow and retain key accounts.
- Ensuring customer standards, codes of practice and technical expectations are met.
