A fast-paced food manufacturing business is looking for a Stock Controller to support warehouse and packaging operations across site. This is a hands-on role suited to someone organised, proactive, and comfortable working across production, warehouse, and dispatch environments.
The Role
You'll play a key role in ensuring packaging and consumables are accurately managed and available to support production operations. Duties will include:
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Monitoring packaging stock levels and supporting ordering processes
- Supplying packaging materials to production lines
- Managing stock movements and system updates
- Completing weekly and monthly stock takes
- Creating and receipting purchase orders using ERP systems
- Supporting dispatch and warehouse operations when required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Assisting with waste management and site housekeeping activities
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience within warehouse, stock control, or manufacturing environments. You should have:
- FLT / PPT licences (Essential)
- Stock and inventory management experience (Essential)
- Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Desirable)
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Good communication skills
- Good numeracy and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive attitude and willingness to support wider operations
