We are working with a well-established dairy manufacturing business in the North West who are seeking an experienced Quality Systems Manager to join their Technical team. This is a key role within the site, responsible for ensuring that all quality systems, documentation and compliance processes are maintained to the highest standard and remain fully audit-ready at all times.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Technical Quality Manager, the Quality Systems Manager will have full ownership of the site’s Quality Management System and associated documentation. This is a hands-on, detail-focused role requiring strong organisational and systems expertise.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (BRC, ISO, HACCP)
- Ensure all quality documentation, records and technical paperwork are accurate, controlled and up to date
- Own document control, specifications, procedures and change management
- Lead and support internal and external audits
- Act as the site expert for quality systems, compliance and best practice
- Drive continuous improvement across quality processes and systems
About You
The successful candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing quality systems and be highly process-driven.
Essential requirements:
- Proven experience in food manufacturing
- Hands-on experience managing quality systems and technical documentation
- Strong understanding of BRC / food safety standards
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence working cross-functionally and maintaining standards
