This is a hands-on QA role within a high-volume food manufacturing site operating 24/7. You will be part of a shift-based team responsible for maintaining standards across production during both day and night operations. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, around-the-clock environment and is comfortable taking responsibility when management presence is lower on nights.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conducting factory floor audits, quality checks, and hygiene inspections
  • Monitoring and verifying Critical Control Points (CCPs)
  • Ensuring full compliance with HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
  • Supporting BRC/audit readiness and traceability processes
  • Working closely with production teams to identify and prevent issues in real time
  • Escalating non-conformances and ensuring corrective actions are followed through
  • Maintaining accurate, audit-ready documentation at all times

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment (essential)
  • HACCP Level 3 (essential)
  • Food Safety Level 3 (essential)
  • Strong understanding of GMP, hygiene, and compliance standards
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident working independently, especially on night shifts
  • Able to challenge and influence production teams when standards slip
  • A genuine go-getter attitude proactive, accountable, and driven
