This is a hands-on QA role within a high-volume food manufacturing site operating 24/7. You will be part of a shift-based team responsible for maintaining standards across production during both day and night operations. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, around-the-clock environment and is comfortable taking responsibility when management presence is lower on nights.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conducting factory floor audits, quality checks, and hygiene inspections
- Monitoring and verifying Critical Control Points (CCPs)
- Ensuring full compliance with HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
- Supporting BRC/audit readiness and traceability processes
- Working closely with production teams to identify and prevent issues in real time
- Escalating non-conformances and ensuring corrective actions are followed through
- Maintaining accurate, audit-ready documentation at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment (essential)
- HACCP Level 3 (essential)
- Food Safety Level 3 (essential)
- Strong understanding of GMP, hygiene, and compliance standards
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident working independently, especially on night shifts
- Able to challenge and influence production teams when standards slip
