This is a hands-on Quality Assurance role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment where standards, pace, and attention to detail genuinely matter. You will be working directly on the factory floor, supporting production teams to ensure products consistently meet food safety, legal, and customer requirements. This isn’t a tick-box QA role; you’ll be expected to take ownership, challenge where needed, and play an active part in maintaining site standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out factory floor audits, inspections, and quality checks
  • Ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
  • Supporting BRC/audit readiness and traceability processes
  • Monitoring Critical Control Points (CCPs) and escalating issues
  • Working closely with production to prevent issues, not just react to them
  • Completing accurate documentation and maintaining high standards of record keeping
  • Driving a right first time culture across the site

  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment (essential)
  • HACCP Level 3 (essential)
  • Food Safety Level 3 (essential)
  • Strong understanding of GMP, hygiene, and compliance standards
