Over the last six years, Moorhouse has extended its reach into the Energy and Utilities (E&U) sector. The growth in E&U clients for Moorhouse has been the result of clients in the sector wanting to look beyond their traditional consultancy suppliers. They are interested in agile, integrated teams working in a truly collaborative way. As many clients in the sector grapple with significant changes in customer, regulatory and technology infrastructure expectations, they have sought our help in developing new approaches and revised operating models.

Qualifications

What are we looking for? You will also be involved in leading and shaping how we run the business and in doing so have meaningful experiences that will undoubtedly contribute to your accelerated growth and development.

  • A minimum 2:1 degree in your first degree and a minimum of three B’s at A-Level or equivalent;
  • 18 – 24 months’ industry and project management experience with a successful track record of managing projects for different clients at the same time;
  • A passion for building and nurturing strong relationships, both with clients and colleagues;
  • An exceptional communication style, with an ability to interface with different audiences and build trust;
  • Strong MS Office Skills in all packages.

Experience

Not a requirement, but highly beneficial would be the addition of:

  • Experience working with organisations in energy generation, retail or utilities distribution, renewables, oil & gas or nuclear;
  • Consulting experience whether this is from a big consulting firm, boutique consultancy or experience gained delivering transformational change in industry;
  • Experience of effectively managing and collaborating with senior client stakeholders.

Outside of client work you will also have the opportunity to contribute to business development success through supporting bids and proposals and play a key role in an internal team.

Application Process:

The deadline for the application is Friday, 27th February 2026. We’ll review applications on a rolling basis and may close the role early, so early applications are encouraged. We are holding an in-person assessment centre, on Friday, 13th March 2026 (You must be available to attend this all-day event at our offices). Successful candidates will be offered to start at Moorhouse on April, 14th 2026. You must be available to start on this date and will be required in the office that week for your inductions and onboarding along with learning & development (L&D) and training. We do not offer sponsorship for this role; you will have the right to work in the UK with no sponsorship required currently or in the future.

What we can offer you at Moorhouse:

  • A total cash package of up to £49,800 comprising of a base salary of £37,800 and a combination of personal and company bonuses that are paid every six months.
  • 25 days annual leave increasing by one day for every full year of service to a maximum of 30 days with the option to buy or sell up to five days of annual leave per year.
