Healthcare at Moorhouse
Our Health & Care sector plays a major role in designing and delivering transformation for the NHS. We work with organisations across the UK health system â including national regulators, integrated care systems and providers â helping them solve their most critical challenges. This includes responding to disruptive trends; implementing innovative models of care; delivering transformation programmes; improving operational performance; and defining operating models and supporting organisational design.
- Health System Strategy and Design: Commissioning and system strategy and design, helping ICSSs and national bodies redesign care pathways, allocate resources effectively, and drive systemâwide transformation.
- Health Service Optimisation: Operational, performance and financial improvement across acute, community and primary care settings.
- Digital, Data and AI Transformation: Supporting improved decisionâmaking, productivity and performance improvement across care systems.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our team, helping lead the delivery of our projects and driving continued growth of our sector. Our team is tightâknit and collaborative, and you will play an important role in running and growing the Health & Care sector at Moorhouse, as well as delivering our clients' most critical transformation efforts.

- Have deep exposure to the NHS and Health & Care system â work sideâbyâside with provider executives, operational leaders, and system partners to design and deliver realâworld improvements in patient flow, elective recovery, workforce efficiency and care coordination.
- Learn from a highly experienced team of consultants with deep expertise in healthcare and years of experience shaping, selling and delivering consulting services across the NHS.

Essential Skills
We are interested in candidates with experience across the following elements:
- At least 4 years' consulting experience in a healthcare setting (e.g. with NHS providers, regulators, systems etc). This could include:
- Outstanding delivery/advisory and transformation capability, with experience independently leading workstreams or initiatives in large programmes.
- Demonstrated expertise in operational excellence, provider transformation, and performance improvement within health and care settings.
- Experience across areas such as programme management, change management, operating model and organisation design, process improvement, digital/AI/techâenabled transformation, strategy & insights and commissioning.
- Extensive experience delivering consulting services within the NHS, including familiarity with the processes, data and systems used in NHS hospitals.
- Strategy & system design â working with national bodies on policy implementation, strategy, and system design.
- System working & integration â supporting Integrated Care Systems and partnerships; improving pathways across providers; developing population health approaches.
- Provider transformation â operational efficiency, workforce optimisation, service redesign, patient flow, cost improvement programmes.
- Digital and innovation â enabling adoption of digital solutions, AI, data and technology in provider and system settings.
Benefits
A total cash package of up to ÂŁ80,000 comprising a base salary of ÂŁ64,575 and a combination of personal and company bonuses that are paid every six months.
