Moorgate is a fully inclusive primary school in the Tonge Moor area of Bolton. We are looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our team. You will support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 2-11 in a safe and nurturing environment. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills (oral and written), be resilient and have good time management.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting children’s learning through play and planned activities
  • Ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
  • Working closely with colleagues and parents
  • Observing and recording children’s development

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Teaching Assistant or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Experience of working with or caring for children within an educational setting
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
