1 year full‑time Uveitis fellowship post in the Uveitis Service at Moorfields Eye Hospital.
Moorfields Eye Hospital is one of the world’s leading eye hospitals, providing expertise in clinical care, research and education. This fellowship will be primarily based in the City Road site with 10 programmed activities per week of which 8 will provide clinical care. The role will involve outpatient care, dealing with emergencies and liaising with other Trusts and GPs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient clinical care for Uveitis patients.
- Manage emergencies related to ocular conditions.
- Liaise with other Trusts, GPs and multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications:
- Possession of the fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmology or equivalent is essential.
- Completion of Specialist Training in Ophthalmology or equivalent.
- Registered with the General Medical Council with a Licence to Practice registration and be an appropriately subscribed member of a recognised Medical Defence organisation.
- Eligible to work in the UK (documentary evidence required).
