Job Overview

As a Move Project Coordinator you will support the delivery of the Oriel programme – a major transformation bringing Moorfields Eye Hospital, the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology and Moorfields Eye Charity into a purpose‑built centre for eye care, research and education. Your role will involve planning and delivering the relocation of services into the new St Pancras site, due to open in 2027, coordinating workstreams, managing project activity and working closely with stakeholders across the Trust, UCL and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of key relocation and operational commissioning workstreams.
  • Coordinate and manage project plans, milestones and deliverables.
  • Maintain project documentation, including risks, issues and action trackers.
  • Organise and facilitate meetings, workshops and programme events.
  • Support reporting and governance, preparing papers and updates.
  • Work closely with clinical, operational and corporate teams to drive progress.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across Moorfields, UCL and partner organisations.
  • Contribute to process improvement and programme‑wide coordination.
  • Manage action trackers and forward planners, ensuring proactive progress.
  • Arrange and participate in programme and team meetings, preparing agendas and tracking actions.
  • Plan logistics for programme events, meetings and workshops.
  • Develop and maintain shared information spaces and databases for the Oriel programme.
  • Collate inputs and draft reports for the Oriel Executive Board.
  • Produce and update key documents and reports using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Capture, collate and present documents and data, ensuring accuracy to inform business cases and decision‑making.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing and leading service improvement or change projects, planning, coordinating and driving activities to achieve objectives.
  • Experience of internal and external stakeholder engagement, managing relationships and coordinating work between cross‑functional teams.
  • Recent experience in operational and non‑operational management within the NHS.
  • Higher education qualification or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Project management qualification or experience (PRINCE2, AMP Practitioner, Managing Successful Programmes, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of current NHS healthcare policy and its application to the local health economy.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK, DBS disclosure and two references.
