Providing a supporting role in the management of the Trust’s portfolio of contracts with Primary Care Trusts, focusing on resolving commissioner queries, aiding the Contracts team in communication around Devolved patients, and providing Data Quality Validation, RA & Audit Administration support within the Department.

Key working relationships include liaison with the trust Contracts team, Senior Information Analysts, General Managers, Internal Audit Teams and smartcard users across all sites.

Main Duties

  • Develop and maintain relationships with the Contracts team within the trust to ensure regular reporting is available for validation.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Information Analyst to create a timetable for receipt of the pre‑flex reporting for validation purposes.
  • Investigate and resolve monthly validation commissioner queries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Use the National Clinical Spine Service to amend NHS numbers and misattributions, updating patient demographic records on the PAS system.
  • Maintain a regular monitor of all validations and challenges for reporting workloads to the DQ Manager.

Data Quality Responsibilities

  • Validate exception reports derived from DBS batch trace files, updating NHS numbers and core demographic details to PAS in line with the national database information.
  • Review process documentation used to generate reports and validation work.
  • Aide in the administration of the audit programmes.
  • Develop and deliver Data Quality training across the Trust.
  • Conduct ad‑hoc visits to all Moorfields sites as arranged in consultation with the DQ Manager.
  • Serve as a contact for individuals across the trust to correct data deficiencies highlighted in data quality reports.
  • Participate in Summary Care Record training and act as a liaison point for national system queries that may need to be raised with the national team.
  • Provide cross‑cover and support for the DQ team during times of absence.
