We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Secretary / Personal Assistant to support the Clerk in the administration of several locally established charities in Warwick and to support our Senior Partner. This is a varied and rewarding part-time role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, managing administration efficiently, and supporting charitable organisations that make a real difference in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative and secretarial support to the Clerk and our Senior Partner
- Organising and supporting quarterly charity meetings
- Taking accurate minutes and circulating meeting papers and correspondence
- Liaising with trustees, residents, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Assisting with the management and administration of almshouses
- Maintaining financial records and supporting the preparation of annual accounts for approval
- Handling general correspondence, filing, and record keeping
- Helping ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of the charities
- Assisting our Senior Partner generally
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience in a secretarial, PA, or administrative role
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in minute taking and record keeping
- Good interpersonal skills and confidence liaising with a range of people
- Experience handling confidential information professionally
- Competence with Microsoft Office and general office systems
- The ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Experience working with charities, committees, property administration, or accounts would be advantageous, though not essential. This is a part-time position with flexible working hours to suit the successful candidate and the needs of the role.
