This school is looking for far more than someone who can deliver lessons. They are searching for a teacher who understands what makes a small village school special—someone who is happy to roll their sleeves up, work collaboratively with colleagues and become an important part of the wider school community. The successful teacher will have a genuine understanding of therapeutic and inclusive practice. Within the class are two pupils with Autism who attend mornings, each with differing needs. The school is seeking someone who understands how to adapt learning naturally, build positive relationships and ensure every child feels fully included rather than simply accommodated. Support, mentoring and any required training will be provided.

If you are compassionate, flexible, skilled in KS1 teaching and phonics, and believe every child deserves to flourish within an inclusive classroom, this could be an exceptionally rewarding opportunity.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • A therapeutic, inclusive approach to teaching and learning
  • Commitment to becoming an active member of a small, supportive school community
