Are you looking for a part-time caretaker role in a friendly primary school setting in Hertfordshire? Our partner primary school in Hertford is seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join the team on a part-time basis, working 7:00am – 11:00am, Monday to Friday. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for children, staff and visitors.

The Role

  • Part-time Caretaker position
  • Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 11:00am
  • September start (or sooner if available)
  • Responsible for opening the school site each morning
  • Carrying out basic maintenance and health & safety checks
  • Ensuring the school grounds and buildings are clean, secure and well-presented
  • Liaising with school staff and contractors when required
  • Opportunity for additional hours during school holidays
