Moore Teachers is recruiting on behalf of a Hertfordshire secondary school for a qualified PE Teacher to cover a long-term assignment.The school is seeking an enthusiastic and committed teacher to deliver Physical Education across the secondary age range. This role has arisen to provide cover for an absent member of staff and may also extend to cover a period of maternity leave. The role: Teaching Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4 Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that promote participation and achievement Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management Contributing positively to the wider school communityThe ideal candidate will: Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Have experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills Be passionate about promoting health, wellbeing and physical activity Be organised, reliable and committed to delivering high-quality teachingDue to the school's requirements, applicants who hold an Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service will be prioritised.
