Digital Business Analyst in Hampshire, Portsmouth

As the energy sector transforms, helping businesses and communities lead the shift to renewables, creating smarter, more sustainable solutions that make a real difference.

They are building a centralised function to capture, maintain, and evolve their Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the group. To turn this knowledge into real operational improvements, they need a Digital Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between business and technical teams.

What you\’ll do

• Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine requirements.
• Map and maintain business processes and SOPs, spotting inefficiencies and opportunities.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
• Support project rollouts, change management, and adoption of new systems.
• Contribute to testing and quality assurance.
• Monitor and report on the impact of new initiatives.
• Maintain accessible documentation to support knowledge-sharing.

Requirements

Essential:

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to analyse and map processes.
• Experience working with both business and technical teams.
• Organised, detail-oriented, proactive multitasker.
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working (scrum, Kanban, user stories).
• Competence with collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira, Miro, or equivalent).

Desirable:

• Business Analysis qualification (BCS, IIBA, Agile BA).
• Exposure to digital transformation projects or system rollouts.
• Experience with CRM/ERP/workflow systems (HubSpot, Dynamics 365).
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
• Awareness of change management and BI/reporting concepts.
