Requirements:
- Be ACA or ACCA Part-Qualified, or AAT qualified ideally with first time passes
- Have at least 15 months' experience including audit testing
- Demonstrate the desire to complete your qualification
- Background working in an accountancy practice
- Proven experience of working on statutory audit assignments at audit senior level and leading on site audit teams
- Experience of preparing/reviewing statutory financial statements including disclosure requirements
- Experience of planning audit assignments including carrying out risk assessments
- Ability to manage projects and teams and to work to tight deadlines
- A good working knowledge of FRS102 (including disclosure requirements), applicable company law and International Standards of Auditing (UK)
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- Must be eligible to work in the UK without any restrictions
- Must be available to work at both firm and client premises
- Experience in the preparation of company accounts from client accounting records
- Experience in the use of preparing financial statements using an accounts production software package
