We are seeking an energetic and commercially minded Partner to join our General Practice team, helping to drive the continued growth of our St Albans office and leading activity across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Hertfordshire. This is a key appointment within our expanding St Albans team, suited to an experienced Partner or a proven RI Director ready to step confidently into a Partner role within our growing, purpose-led firm.
You will join a strong and collaborative team of twelve RI Directors and Partners, playing a pivotal role alongside them as we continue to build our presence across the region. You’ll bring the credibility, networks and ambition needed to deepen our impact, particularly within the nonprofit sector and the owner-managed business community, while contributing to the entrepreneurial spirit that drives our firm’s growth.
In this role, you will help grow our General Practice offering, taking responsibility for delivering exceptional service to a diverse portfolio while championing the highest audit standards. You will play an influential part in shaping and executing our growth plans, using your networks and commercial instincts to win work and strengthen our footprint across Beds, Bucks and Herts. Working closely with fellow RI Directors and Partners, you will contribute to firmwide leadership, support and develop high-performing teams, and act as a trusted adviser who builds long-term, value-driven relationships. As part of our collaborative leadership group, you will help steer the practice’s strategic direction and ensure we continue to deliver quality, impact, and meaningful growth in the region.
Role requirements:
- Experience at Partner or senior RI Director level within a similar-sized firm (Top 30 preferred).
- Strong expertise in nonprofit and SME/owner-managed business work is essential, and experience in hospitality sector desired.
- Proven ability to win and grow client relationships; confident and proactive in business development.
- Demonstrable audit leadership and a commitment to exceptionally high audit standards.
- Local networks within Beds, Bucks & Herts, or the ability to build them quickly and credibly.
- Established community or business involvement in the St Albans region or surrounding areas.
- An energetic, collaborative leadership style aligned with our firm’s values and growth ambitions.
- ACA qualified (or equivalent).
