Are you an experienced AML professional with strong people management skills? Do you enjoy navigating complex client structures and leading teams through regulatory change? If so, Moore Kingston Smith would like to hear from you.
We are an award-winning accountancy and advisory firm at the heart of London, and we are looking for a Senior Anti Money Laundering Manager to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will play a pivotal part in developing and running our client onboarding team, ensuring robust AML processes are embedded across the business.
What you’ll do
- Lead and develop the onboarding and AML compliance team, supporting their growth through coaching and performance management.
- Oversee all aspects of client onboarding, from initial due diligence to ongoing monitoring and internal audits.
- Handle complex client structures and respond to challenging AML scenarios, ensuring our controls remain effective and up to date.
- Provide guidance to partners and staff on AML queries, and deliver engaging training to support awareness across the firm.
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes and ensure policies and procedures are continuously improved.
Essential Requirements
- Substantial experience in a similar AML management role, ideally within an accountancy or legal firm.
- Proven track record of managing people and building high-performing teams.
- Hands-on experience dealing with complex client due diligence and client structures.
- In-depth knowledge of UK AML regulations and best practices.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
