Our Valuation Services team provides independent, commercially focused advice to clients ranging from SMEs to multinational organisations, supporting a wide range of valuation needs including financial reporting, share schemes and broader commercial decision-making. Drawing on a diverse mix of professional backgrounds and international experience, the team combines strong technical expertise with practical insight. We take a consultative approach, working closely with clients to understand their objectives and deliver clear, tailored solutions.

As a Senior Manager, you will manage a portfolio of valuation clients and projects, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality engagements. You will work closely with Partners and Directors to provide bespoke valuation advice, build strong client relationships, and contribute to business development initiatives. You will also lead and develop junior team members, playing a key role in the continued growth of this dynamic and expanding team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective project management of valuation engagements from inception to completion.
  • Execute robust technical valuation analyses for a variety of purposes including accounting, tax, commercial and forensic engagements.
  • Deliver clear, succinct and robust valuation reports that are fit for purpose and accessible to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide thoughtful challenge and technical input on complex engagements.
  • Carry out technical research in specific areas of valuation and share key findings with the wider team.
  • Ensure the firm’s risk management and client take-on procedures are appropriately followed.
  • Build strong client relationships and manage expectations through timely and effective communication.
  • Manage junior team members on engagements, ensuring they are appropriately briefed and coached.
  • Contribute to the appraisal and development of junior team members, identifying development areas and supporting training plans.
  • Maintain and develop a network of professional and business contacts, recognising and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Deliver seminars and presentations (internally and externally) on valuation-related topics.
  • Contribute to the team’s digital marketing strategy through thought leadership and published content.
  • Act as an ambassador for the firm, supporting marketing initiatives and promoting the wider service offering.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Significant valuation experience gained within a professional services firm at a senior level.
  • Strong technical expertise across a range of valuation techniques, including discounted cash flow, multiples analysis, options and intangible asset valuations.
  • Strong ability to interpret financial statements in a valuation context.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand the internal and external drivers of value for a given asset.
  • Excellent financial modelling, analytical and report writing skills.
  • Professionally qualified (e.g. ACA, CFA or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
