Moore Kingston Smith is looking for an AML and Conflicts Administrator to join our growing Onboarding and AML team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience who is interested in developing their knowledge of anti‑money laundering, client onboarding and conflict checks within a professional services environment. You will play an important role in supporting our client take‑on procedures, helping to ensure that new and existing clients are onboarded accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.
Working closely with the AML team, the Conflict Check Analyst, managers and partners across the firm, you will keep key processes moving and provide support on a range of onboarding, AML and conflict‑related tasks.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will support the team with the administration of client onboarding and ongoing monitoring processes. This will include:
- Managing the AML inbox workflow
- Allocating client queries to the central team
- Supporting training administration with Learning & Development
- Providing guidance to colleagues on client onboarding queries
- Managing and tracking conflict check requests
- Chasing outstanding information
- Supporting conflict checks for new clients and matters
- Assisting with corporate research using sources such as Companies House and Orbis
- Reviewing conflict search results, flagging potential issues and escalating matters where needed
- Supporting with reporting PSC discrepancies
- Managing DBS processes required under BOOM regulations
- Filing and scanning client documents
- Ensuring AML and conflict requirements are completed accurately and on time
Experience working in an administrative role within a professional setting. Some experience in an accounting, professional services or regulated environment, although this is preferred rather than essential. A basic understanding of AML and conflict of interest regulations. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload effectively. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office. A degree or equivalent qualification would be beneficial, but is not essential.
