Overview
A position is available for a skilled CNC Programmer to join our milling team. We are a small friendly company that prides itself on teamwork and support for our employees.
Job Type: Full-time/permanent
Responsibilities
- Programming of Heidenhain with a good knowledge of 4th and 5th axis work
- Program CNC machines using software such as SolidWorks
- Set up and operate CNC to machine parts according to specifications
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal working condition
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize part designs for manufacturing
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during the machining process
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes
- Proficiency in programming CNC machines using software such as SolidWorks
- Familiarity with tooling and materials handling techniques
- Basic math skills for calculations and measurements
- Ability to use hand tools effectively
