Overview

A position is available for a skilled CNC Programmer to join our milling team. We are a small friendly company that prides itself on teamwork and support for our employees.

Job Type: Full-time/permanent

Responsibilities

  • Programming of Heidenhain with a good knowledge of 4th and 5th axis work
  • Program CNC machines using software such as SolidWorks
  • Set up and operate CNC to machine parts according to specifications
  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal working condition
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize part designs for manufacturing
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise during the machining process
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes
  • Proficiency in programming CNC machines using software such as SolidWorks
  • Familiarity with tooling and materials handling techniques
  • Basic math skills for calculations and measurements
  • Ability to use hand tools effectively
