The predicted salary is between 48000 - 51800 £ per year.
Managing the delivery of new and replacement electrical services including electrical High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) infrastructure and installations. This will include the design and/or design management, briefing consultants, assisting with procurement, project management, monitoring of progress, commissioning and handover.
Responsibilities include ensuring all documentation and records are kept up to date. Installations will include heating, cooling and ventilation systems, water and gas systems, air conditioning, lifts and fume cupboards. Undertake surveys, reviews or monitor either individually or in conjunction with other Estates & Facilities staff by linking into the Building Information Modelling (BIM) and the Building Management System (BMS). Having an overview of the building's mechanical and electrical equipment such as ventilation, lighting, power systems, fire systems, and security systems via the University’s BMS. Ensure all building and health & safety regulations are complied with.
Qualifications: You must have a minimum of a HNC and will ideally have a degree and or membership to MIET.
