Overview
General day to day duties of the Interim Disrepair Surveyor role will include:
- Conducting surveys of housing stock to assess defects and condition of works.
- Writing specifications for the property.
- Manage contractors throughout works.
- Liaise closely with tenants and manage their expectations, ensuring convenient and high calibre customer service throughout.
- Preparation of detailed specifications and contract documentation.
- Drafting programmes and cost profiles of repairs and minor works.
Ideal Candidate
- Have experience with Disrepair Surveying.
- Be educated to at least HNC in a Building related subject.
- Have experience of monitoring programmes and managing planned maintenance of Housing Stock.
- Have knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation, CDM regulations and Building Regulations.
