Electrical Design Engineer required for a higher education client. Work with the Group’s Senior Electrical Engineering Manager on capital development and maintenance upgrade schemes within the Estate Team, carrying out design and preparing specifications for selected projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Electrical Building Service elements of schemes ranging from £10,000 to over £50,000, coordinating inputs from the Estates department, Group Stakeholders, designers, and external consultants.
  • Provide complete Project Management Service from inception to handover for Electrical Building Service projects, including adaptations, renovations, and new build from around £10,000 up to around £1,000,000.
  • Take full responsibility for day-to-day management of such projects.

Qualifications

  • Industry experience on various commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Contractor management experience.
