We are looking for a Responsive Repairs Manager to join our multi-disciplinary Repairs Team in the West Midlands. The role involves managing day-to-day operations, recruiting, training and equipping operatives, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and maximizing operational and commercial efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the quality of workmanship completed by operatives and ensure standards are maintained in accordance with the Group’s and contractual expectations.
- Undertake spot checks on a regular basis of completed works and safety practices.
- Support staff where deficiencies have occurred.
- Manage and organise a team of operatives to deliver works, liaising with sub-contractors, tenants, clients, and main contractors.
- Carry out multiple quality inspections and works surveys within a defined geographical area.
- Manage investment and responsive repairs inspections, and ensure quality on contract.
Qualifications and Experience:
Ideally you will have worked with a housing provider or contractor, have experience of responsive maintenance works and possess relevant industry qualifications.
