As Building Safety Manager you will become the subject matter expert in advising key stakeholders of all compliance work streams across a diverse stock portfolio. You will be managing a small specialist compliance team and will have the opportunity to develop not only your own skills but will lead the development of the compliance team. You are passionate about promoting personal development and will tailor a plan to enable you to thrive as a Building Safety Manager. This role will see you create successful partnerships and collaborative working relationships with a variety of stakeholders. As a key member of the Assets Team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of compliance activity to a high standard for a unique property portfolio.
Candidate Profile
- You will be values driven and focused on delivering great services for Assets Team.
- Experience working in a senior compliance related role with a housing or private sector provider.
- Extensive project management experience in managing a multi discipline team and varied building portfolio.
- Team management and development experience.
- Excellent knowledge of the compliance functions.
- Management and delivery of servicing and maintenance programmes.
- Demonstrable knowledge of building safety and fire legislation.
- Specialist knowledge of legislation associated with Gas, Water Hygiene, Electrical Inspection, Fire Risk Assessments, means of escape.
- Budgetary control.
