Hybrid working role - Macclesfield - full time permanent. Are you looking for an exciting new administration role for 2026? Do you love variety, being busy and working as part of a fabulous small team? Can you use your fantastic organisational and customer service skills to support our clients? We have a vacancy for a Membership and Delegate Administrator and we'd love to hear from you! We are a professional services firm and we specialise in outsourced administration, accounting, company secretarial duties and event management. Our clients are professional trade associations, academic societies and other not for profit membership and charitable organisations.

This role will be mostly remote with 2 days a week in an amazing and inspiring office space with excellent facilities in Macclesfield. You will need to have experience of working in an office environment, excellent MS Office 365 skills, and an engaging, warm, approachable and friendly manner. You will also need to be able to organise your work, juggle multiple projects and enjoy working as part of a small, fun and supportive team.

What will I be doing in this role?

  • This is a client facing role – a professional telephone manner and in person communication skills is essential.
  • Answering a high volume of emails and calls from clients and their members and potential members, and resolving any queries raised in a timely and professional manner working to agreed deadlines.
  • Raising invoices and assisting in credit control.
  • Being a contact person for external enquiries, including responsibility for the info@ email inbox for a number of clients and responding to agreed deadlines.
  • Managing event registrations and attending client events / conferences. (Some travel required in UK / Europe).
  • Ensuring that the electronic filing system, project records and client databases are kept up-to-date with event, committee and membership activity information.
  • Updating client websites, managing mailing lists and using client's eshot mailing systems.
  • Working as a team to cover the peaks and troughs of annual client contract delivery.

What skills and experience should I be able to demonstrate?

  • Experience in enquiry handling and customer service excellence within a service / business environment.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with an ability to progress a number of tasks simultaneously, prioritise workload and maintain effective systems.
  • A high level of communication and presentation skills with the ability to quickly establish credible relationships at all levels.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Experience of using a CRM.
  • Works with high accuracy and attention to detail - takes pride in their work.
  • A focus on providing an outstanding service to our clients and understand they are our priority.
