Salary: £25,680 - £27,749 – Depending on experience (Actual Salary)

Position: Permanent - Full Time - 37.25 hours per week:

  • Monday / Wednesday / Thursday / Friday 07.45 – 16.00
  • Tuesday 07.45 – 17.00 (Hours non-negotiable)

Term Time plus 5 INSET days plus 2 Weeks of School Holidays

Moor House School & College is an outstanding residential and day school for children and young people with significant speech, language and communication needs. Situated close to a mainline station with direct links to London, the school is located in a beautiful rural setting on the Kent and Surrey borders. Moor House provides a differentiated mainstream curriculum to students aged from 7 to 19.

We are seeking an Administrator to provide the school with a first point of contact for all visitors/callers, responding to enquiries where possible or referring to appropriate member of staff as required. Reporting to the Office Manager, you will provide administrative support, to enable a consistent and effective delivery of the administration service across Moor House.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Undertake all duties associated with the position of receptionist.
  • Provide a professional, efficient and proactive reception support service for Moor House.
  • Provide general clerical and administrative support and maintaining school records.
  • Be proactive in supporting the smooth running of the Administration Office.

The ideal candidate will have experience as an administrator with excellent verbal and written communication skills. If you are enthusiastic, self‑motivated and pro‑active with the capacity to take the initiative when necessary, we would like to hear from you.
