Salary: £34,434 - £51,814 (M1-M2 – 32.5 hours); £49,674 (M3 – 29.25 hours)

Contract Type: Permanent / Temporary / Fixed Term / Casual

Hours of Work: 32.5 hours (5 days) for M1-M2, 29.25 hours (4.5 days) for M3; 12‑month fixed term contract.

About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high‑quality teaching across the Year 3/4 curriculum, supporting pupils’ academic progress, well‑being, and personal development.

  • Deliver a broad, balanced and engaging Lower Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Maintain high standards of handwriting and presentation across subjects.
  • Prepare for the Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check (MTC).
  • Commit to outdoor learning as a meaningful part of the curriculum.
  • Support Year 4 pupils’ transition to middle school in partnership with families and colleagues.

Additional Opportunities (M3):

  • Work in partnership with the Headteacher to lead two curriculum subject areas.
  • Support curriculum development, consistency and progression.
  • Share good practice and contribute to raising standards across the school.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience (or strong potential) in Lower Key Stage 2 teaching.
  • Demonstrated high expectations for behaviour, learning and inclusion.
  • Commitment to developing confident, fluent learners academically and personally.
  • Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills and reflective practice.
  • Values outdoor learning, creativity and pupil well‑being.
