Moonreach Ltd is dedicated to supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, especially those who have experienced trauma, placement disruption, or other challenges. This is a full-time on-site role based in Leeds for a Registered Residential Children's Home Manager. The role involves overseeing the daily operations of a residential children's home, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a dedicated team
  • Developing and executing care plans for children

Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing children's residential care settings and a thorough understanding of Ofsted requirements
  • Proven leadership skills, including team management, staff development, and the ability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and trauma-informed practices
  • Strong communication skills, including collaboration with external agencies, report writing, and stakeholder engagement
  • Capability to develop, implement, and review care plans and ensure compliance with safeguarding and relevant legal frameworks
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is preferred
  • Clear enhanced DBS check and a valid driver’s licence are required
