About the role: We’re looking for a commercially savvy and highly driven Sales Manager to grow our network of exceptional experience providers for Buyagift and Red Letter Days. In this high-impact role, you’ll take full ownership of a target partner list and lead the end-to-end acquisition process—from identifying prospects to securing long-term, high-value partnerships that enrich our offering and delight our customers. This is a 9-month fixed-term contract with the flexibility to work remotely three days per week. You’ll also travel across the UK to meet prospective partners and represent our brands at key events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage a clear and actionable strategic partner target list, prioritising opportunities that drive the most customer and business value.
- Research and identify high-potential new partners aligned with our category strategies.
- Develop and execute tailored outreach plans across email, phone, LinkedIn, and face-to-face meetings.
- Confidently create and present compelling commercial proposals that showcase our brand value.
- Negotiate and close mutually beneficial agreements with efficiency and precision.
- Collaborate closely with the Onboarding Manager and Category teams to ensure a seamless partner experience.
- Track and report on pipeline health, lead conversion, and acquisition performance.
- Build and maintain strong industry relationships, attending relevant networking events to promote our brands.
- Gather market insights to inform our acquisition strategy and stay ahead of trends.
About You:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or partnerships—ideally in marketplace, e-commerce, or experience-led sectors.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Excellent commercial acumen and the ability to articulate mutual value.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in pitching and influencing.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- A strategic mindset and comfort operating autonomously in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Well-connected within relevant industries (a plus).
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
