About the Role
We're looking for a commercially curious and highly organised Commercial Assistant to join our Commercial team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in e-commerce, buying or commercial trading. You'll support the team across supplier onboarding, product launches, onsite trading, and marketing investment planning, helping to ensure our products go live smoothly and our customer experience remains engaging and commercially effective. Working closely with teams across Buying, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Content and Legal, you'll gain exposure to the full commercial lifecycle—from bringing new suppliers onboard through to analysing campaign performance and supporting peak trading activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end onboarding of new suppliers, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
- Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Supply Chain and Procurement to help activate new suppliers efficiently.
- Maintain supplier documentation and onboarding trackers.
- Create and maintain product SKUs across internal systems.
- Ensure pricing, cost prices, barcodes and promotional information are accurate.
- Carry out daily quality checks on newly published and republished SKUs, including pricing validation.
- Coordinate product imagery, asset collection, photography and sample management.
- Curate onsite product galleries to keep them relevant, engaging and commercially effective.
- Review low-converting galleries and implement improvements.
- Work closely with Content and Marketing teams to support the trading calendar.
- Provide day-to-day support for trading activity, particularly during peak periods.
- Maintain weekly trackers for pricing, promotions and barcode updates.
- Support reporting projects, including subcategory reporting and Tableau data preparation.
- Capture campaign activity across website and CRM channels.
- Track supplier-funded promotional investment and marketing contributions.
- Collate campaign performance feedback for supplier presentations.
- Maintain rolling supplier exposure decks.
- Own and maintain the finance tracker for marketing investment.
