The Senior Growth Analyst (Customer Engagement) sits within our Growth Analytics team and plays a key role in helping Moonpig understand and improve the performance and impact of our customer engagement activity. This role is primarily focused on Reminders — a major driver of Moonpig’s trading performance and repeat customer behaviour. You’ll provide clear, trusted insight into how Reminders are performing, what’s driving outcomes, and where we should prioritise improvements across the customer journey, channel execution, and measurement. Alongside Reminders, you’ll also support wider lifecycle and customer engagement activity, including newsletters, app push, triggered campaigns, and other customer communications. By bringing together robust analysis and clear storytelling, you’ll help Marketing and Product teams make better decisions, improve customer experience, and drive repeat purchase.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the analytics for Reminders, providing regular performance views and insight across key metrics such as sends, engagement, conversions, and revenue.
  • Investigate movements in Reminders performance, identifying drivers and raising risks, issues, or opportunities with stakeholders.
  • Lead deep dives into Reminders topics including send strategy, customer experience (relevance, fatigue, opt-outs/unsubscribes), conversion behaviour, and landing journeys.
  • Provide a robust view of Reminders impact beyond last-touch reporting, using approaches such as holdouts, test-and-learn analysis, and cohort or behavioural comparisons, and clearly explaining trade-offs.
  • Develop forward-looking views for Reminders, highlighting risks and opportunities ahead of key trading moments.
  • Support weekly and monthly performance forums for Customer Engagement and Reminders, producing concise readouts, insights, and actions.
  • Support measurement for Reminders experiments, partnering with the Marketing Effectiveness Lead on approach, readouts, and implications.
  • Provide analytical support across broader customer engagement activity, connecting channel performance to customer outcomes and helping teams prioritise improvements.
  • Act as the go-to person for customer engagement tracking and attribution, clearly representing how tagging and attribution shape performance reporting.
  • Triage tracking queries and issues, routing them to the right teams with clear context and recommended next steps.
  • Shape and prioritise the Reminders analytics agenda with stakeholders, focusing effort on the highest-impact questions.
  • Help embed standardised analytical frameworks and metric definitions into reporting and BAU analysis to ensure consistency and “one version of the truth.”
  • Communicate findings clearly through well-structured slides and conversations, explaining what’s happened, why it matters, and what should happen next.
  • Partner closely with BI, Digital Analytics, and Analytics Engineering to ensure Snowflake models, pipelines, and Tableau reporting support your work.
  • Provide ad hoc performance marketing analysis where it intersects with customer engagement measurement and attribution.

About you

  • You have experience in growth analytics, marketing analytics, or lifecycle/customer engagement analytics within an e-commerce, retail, or digitally led environment.
  • You’re confident working with large datasets using SQL in a cloud data warehouse, ideally Snowflake or similar.
  • You have hands-on experience using Python (or similar) for analysis, data preparation, or automation.
  • You’re a strong analytical thinker who can break down ambiguous questions into structured analysis and clear recommendations.
  • You’ve analysed performance across customer engagement channels such as email, push notifications, or triggered journeys.
  • You understand marketing measurement concepts, including the strengths and limitations of attribution, and when alternative approaches are needed.
  • You’re comfortable working at pace, managing multiple requests, and prioritising effectively with stakeholders.
  • You’re a clear, concise communicator who can tell a simple, compelling story for non-technical audiences.
  • You enjoy working collaboratively across Analytics, Marketing, Product, and Data Engineering teams.
  • You’re comfortable working with tracking, tagging, and channel taxonomy concepts and partnering closely with Digital Analytics teams.

What’s in it for you?

  • Competitive Pay & Bonuses: Plus, generous pension plans & staff discounts.
  • Wellbeing First: Private healthcare (UK), mental health support & dog-friendly offices (London & NL).
  • Flexible Working & Time Off: Generous holidays, hybrid working (1-3 days in office, depending on role/team) & up to 20 days of international working.
  • Career Growth: Learning allowances, coaching & development programs.

We trust our colleagues to do what’s right and offer flexibility to support a balance between work and life.
