About The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Admin to join our People team on a fixed-term contract. This role will serve as the first point of contact for employee support through our Jira ticketing system, ensuring timely responses and accurate record-keeping. You will play a critical role in supporting the employee lifecycle – from onboarding new hires to coordinating off-boarding processes – while maintaining compliance and data accuracy across our HR systems. What You Will Do:
- Jira Ticket Management: Monitor the People Team Jira queue daily, triaging, categorizing, and resolving employee inquiries, escalating when necessary.
- Onboarding Coordination: Schedule onboarding sessions, initiate background checks, distribute contracts, and support new-hire profile setup in Workday, Deel, and ADP.
- Building processes and SOPs: Assess employee-facing processes and design scalable improvements.
- AI optimisation: Use Claude, Gemini Enterprise and ChatGPT to envision and plan ways of reducing manual effort in handling employee tickets.
- Off-boarding Administration: Process off-boarding requests, ensuring documentation is completed and filed accurately.
- Payroll support: Create and review monthly reports to inform our payroll manager about changes across all payroll systems.
- Data Management & Compliance: Maintain accuracy of employee records across HR systems while adhering to privacy and confidentiality protocols.
- Knowledge Base Contribution: Identify recurring issues and document solutions to continuously improve processes and employee self-service resources.
About You:
- 3–6 years of experience in HR administration, People Operations, or a similar support role.
- Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach to data management.
- Comfortable working with HR systems such as Workday, ADP, or Jira (experience with multiple systems is a plus).
- Ability to build and test robust processes.
- Ability to use AI to augment workflows, automate processes, and analyse data.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
