Soft FM Manager

This is not a hybrid role; the successful candidate must work in person at the workplace Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week.

About the Role

As Soft FM Manager, you will oversee a variety of services across Newham Dockside, HQ & other sites. You’ll manage service contracts, in‑house teams and suppliers, ensuring high standards, compliance and value for money.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and window cleaning
  • Pest control
  • Waste and confidential waste management
  • Sustainability and environmental compliance
  • Security personnel and systems (CCTV, access control, guards)
  • Contract monitoring, procurement and supplier management
  • Minor maintenance, porterage, reception, and building support services
  • Ensure buildings provide a safe, well‑maintained, positive working environment
  • Budget management

About You

  • Strong experience in soft FM services
  • Proven contract management and supplier performance monitoring experience
  • Good understanding of health & safety, building compliance and environmental standards
  • Excellent leadership and contract management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Proactive, adaptable and committed to delivering high‑quality, customer‑focused services
  • Ability to work across multiple sites and build strong relationships
  • Confidence in managing budgets, suppliers and operational teams
  • Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities with a commitment to service excellence
