Join the team rewriting the rules in private markets. Moonfare delivers what few others can: the highly sought-after funds and hidden-gem investments that go beyond what most private banks offer. Every opportunity is subjected to a ruthless vetting process; the bar is unforgivingly high. The result? Institutional-quality portfolios for investors who demand more. Our team combines finance veterans with talent from tech, consulting, law and industries you’d never expect. Headquartered in Berlin, we operate from eight offices across Europe, the US and Asia. If you're ready to build what's next in private markets, let's talk.
Moonfare’s audience doesn’t read for entertainment. Private Office investors, family offices, GP Services partners and sophisticated individuals read for edge — and they can tell institutional-grade thinking from filler in a sentence. This role exists to produce the editorial output that earns their attention: writing they would bookmark and forward to a peer. You will own Moonfare’s content slate and lead the editorial agenda that carries our point of view on private markets. We have a clear house view; your job is to help set it, research it and bring it to life — from a fund thesis to a market shift to proprietary research. You will be accountable for the signals that matter: finish rate, repeat readership, share rate and newsletter engagement above the editorial threshold. Not page views. The challenge is a sceptical, expert audience and a regulated product. The opportunity is end-to-end ownership of the editorial journey, direct access to investors, GPs and the deal pipeline, and the standing to set the terms of the conversation.
You join Moonfare’s Marketing team — lean and high-output, building the brand, generating demand and driving investor acquisition across global markets. It reports to the Head of Communications & Content and works closely with Investments, Fund Operations, Research and Investor Relations.
You will:
- Lead the editorial agenda — driving Moonfare’s point of view on private markets, advising what we should be saying and when, ahead of the cycle rather than in reaction to it, and setting the forward calendar of theses and formats.
- Set the standard across the slate — researching and producing everything from thought leadership and the annual Outlook to research reports, the newsletter, website copy and video and audio scripts, and defining the bar the rest of the slate is held to.
- Translate fund opportunities, market events and proprietary research into accurate, well-sourced, investor-facing content — never optimised for SEO at the expense of credibility, never reliant on hype or unsupported superlatives.
- Run the editorial calendar and production engine, owning the pipeline from brief to publication and building the templates that make each cycle sharper than the last.
- Partner across the business — sourcing theses with the Investment and Fund teams, shaping and producing the Deal Talk series, supporting our monthly macro call, and coordinating with Research, Brand, Design and external agencies.
- Hold the line on accuracy and compliance, applying Moonfare’s house style and claims discipline and writing within financial-promotions compliance, so review protects the brand without becoming a bottleneck.
- Use AI to research, draft and accelerate, while owning the editorial judgment that protects accuracy and keeps the brand voice intact. AI speeds the work; it never lowers the bar.
- Track the signals that matter and use them to sharpen the slate — knowing what worked, and why.
The next Moonfarian:
- 6+ years writing and editing investor-facing content, with published long-form work you can share.
- Experience in or around financial services — asset management, private markets, wealth management, banking or financial media (required).
- Working understanding of private equity and private markets.
- Strong research skills — gathers, verifies and synthesises from credible sources.
- Versatile across formats: whitepapers, scripts, newsletters, website copy.
- Confident using AI to research and draft, with the judgement to own what ships.
- Excellent written and verbal English, with the self-direction to hold cadence across formats without dropping the bar. German or French a plus.
Our Values:
- Client-Centric Focus. Putting clients first means creating value for them is essential. Placing Moonfare second signifies that our individual professional future at Moonfare depends on the company's commercial success. Prioritising ourselves third reflects our humility in putting clients and Moonfare before personal interests.

- Growth and Merit. We foster personal growth but each of us earns our place as a Moonfarian through merit. We hire, retain, and develop exceptional people and invest in empowering them to excel. We must all earn our place at the table every day.
We understand the important role that diversity plays in our success. Different backgrounds, experiences and ideas push us further and raise the bar. We're committed to developing an inclusive and safe culture where everyone — regardless of colour, race, religion, sex, origin, sexuality, disability, marital status, citizenship or gender identity — knows that they are an integral part of the team and can bring their full potential to their work.
