Moonfare delivers what few others can: the highly sought-after funds and hidden-gem investments that go beyond what most private banks offer. Every opportunity is subjected to a ruthless vetting process; the bar is unforgivingly high. The result? Institutional-quality portfolios for investors who demand more. Our team combines finance veterans with talent from tech, consulting, law and industries you'd never expect. Headquartered in Berlin, we operate from eight offices across Europe, the US and Asia. If you're ready to build what's next in private markets, let's talk.

Moonfare is at an inflection point. We are 10 years in the making, with almost €4 billion in AUM and a new CMO recently in place, and the brand now carries more weight than it ever has. We are looking for a designer to make every surface we put in front of an investor look as though it was made on purpose. The person you are designing for is a partner at Freshfields, a Goldman MD, the principal of a small family office. They read curated material every day and they notice slippage immediately. Our reference points are Loro Piana, Aman, Cartier and Hauser & Wirth — houses that wear their authority quietly and let the object carry the brand. We are a gallery rather than a supermarket, and the craft has to hold at that standard across a fund brochure, a thirty-two word invitation, a billboard at WEF and a single slide in a sales deck.

The Brand Designer joins Moonfare's Marketing team — a high-output team responsible for building the brand, setting standards of excellence, generating demand, and driving investor acquisition across global markets. You will work daily with Fund Marketing, Investor Relations and Compliance, and you will own the craft rather than coordinate it. This role reports to the CMO. AI tooling is business as usual in this team — Claude and Figma in the daily stack. The gain we want is not speed for its own sake. It is your hours moving from the mechanical end of production to the thinking.

You Will:

  • Own the craft on every investor-facing surface — fund brochures, the annual letter, invitations, event environments, sales decks, web pages, paid assets — and hold the line on quality when the deadline argues otherwise.
  • Tighten and maintain the design system: type, grid, colour, photography, motion and templates that let non-designers produce work which still looks like us.
  • Design the fund marketing design system alongside Fund Marketing, so that each launch is assembled rather than reinvented, and the material reads like an LP memo rather than a brochure.
  • Take long-form and content design seriously — due diligence summaries, research, the annual letter — where the job is clarity and restraint rather than decoration.
  • Design for physical objects and rooms as fluently as for screens: printed matter, direct mail, gifts, signage and event environments, GTM launches and private dinners.
  • Work inside compliance rather than around it, treating risk warnings and disclosures as a design problem to be solved properly.
  • Bring an AI-first mindset to the production stack — concepting, variation, retouching, resizing and versioning — so that more of your time goes to the thinking and less to the mechanical.
  • Art-direct external partners including photographers, illustrators, agencies and printers, and brief them well enough that the output needs little rescuing.

The Next Moonfarian:

  • You bring six or more years of design experience, with a portfolio that shows editorial and brand craft rather than campaign volume.
  • You have designed for a luxury house, a gallery or museum, a serious publication or a premium consumer brand — or you can show that you understand that register and want to work in it.
  • You bring an AI-native mindset — you use AI tools in your day-to-day and you have views on where they sharpen the work and where they flatten it.
  • You are equally fluent in print and digital, and you have shipped physical work: something printed, bound, packaged or installed.
  • You bring hands-on command of Figma and the Adobe suite.
  • You give feedback as well as take it, and you can explain a design decision to a non-designer without defensiveness or jargon.
  • You can work at pace inside a regulated industry and you see compliance as a design constraint rather than a blocker.

This role is unlikely to be a good match if you:

  • Need a fully written brief before you can start. A good deal of this work begins as a conversation and a deadline.
  • Prefer to direct rather than make. This is a hands-on role and the person in it designs every day.
  • Are happiest producing high volumes of performance creative. Our channel mix is deliberately narrow, and quality of execution matters more here than volume of message.
  • Find restraint frustrating rather than freeing. Our brand is built on hairline rules, whitespace and type weight rather than colour and ornament.
  • Prefer to work at arm's length from the business. You will sit with Fund Marketing, Investor Relations and Compliance constantly.

Invest in Yourself:

  • Ownership and Impact: You are empowered to bring ideas, make decisions, and see your work directly contribute to Moonfare's success.
  • Transparent Environment: We believe in open communication. You will receive regular updates on company strategy, performance against our KPIs, and key business decisions.
  • Personal Growth: We support your development with an individual growth budget of £1,500 or 2% of your base salary (whichever is higher).

Invest in Your Future:

  • We support your long-term financial goals with a workplace pension via SmartPension, where Moonfare contributes 3% and combined employer and employee contributions reach at least 8%.

Relax and Recharge:

  • You start with 25 vacation days and you'll receive one additional day for each year of tenure, up to a maximum of 30 days. Moonfare gifts two days during our annual end of year company shutdown.

Daily Lunch:

  • Enjoy a £12 daily lunch allowance via Deliveroo on the days you're in the London office, delivered or ready to pick up nearby.

Fitness and Wellbeing:

  • Stay active with a subsidised FitnessFirst membership, with £30 covered by Moonfare each month and no joining fee, plus a monthly guest pass and company wellness events.

Health Cover:

  • Look after your health with private medical and dental cover through Bupa, including Select Complete Healthcare across 600 partner facilities and Dental Plan Level 2, with dependants covered up to age 24.

Cycle to Work:

  • Ride in tax-efficiently through our salary-sacrifice scheme via Forest, available for an eBike or eMoped.

A Culture of Excellence: Join a team of ambitious, smart, and committed professionals who are passionate about revolutionising private market investing.

Performance Reward: As a performance-first company, we reward strong performance twice a year, so your impact translates directly into how your pay grows — through potential base salary increases and/or bonuses.

Our Values:

  • Our clients come first, Moonfare comes second, and we prioritise ourselves third — Client-Centric Focus.
  • Putting clients first means creating value for them is essential. Placing Moonfare second signifies that our individual professional future at Moonfare depends on the company's commercial success. Prioritising ourselves third reflects our humility in putting clients and Moonfare before personal interests.
  • We pursue excellence and honor our promises — Commitment to Excellence.
  • We hold ourselves to the highest standards, taking responsibility for our failures, and celebrating our successes. We commit to deadlines and stick to them and we learn from our mistakes.
  • We are here to win and to celebrate our collective achievements — Win together.
  • We are mission-focused and think and act like owners. We exemplify the attitude we expect and each of us commits to do what it takes to succeed.
  • We foster personal growth but each of us earns our place as a Moonfarian through merit — Growth and Merit.
  • We hire, retain, and develop exceptional people and invest in empowering them to excel. We must all earn our place at the table every day.
