About Mooncup

Mooncup began with a clear goal: to give people a healthier, sustainable way to manage their periods - no petroleum plastic, no irritants, no compromises. Back in 2002, we launched the world's first medical grade silicone menstrual cup, pioneering a movement in period care that put health and the planet first. We saw an industry where profit often came before people, where ingredients were hidden, and where plastics reigned. So, we made it our mission to challenge these norms and push for better.

Our vision is to be the world's biggest period care brand. We have listed Mooncup into Sainsbury's, Boots, Holland & Barrett and Look Fantastic, but we're also partnered with a growing range of workplaces, gyms and hotels (such as Canva, Danone, Gymshark, Claridges) to give their employees, guests and members free access in their bathrooms.

We are the UK's highest scoring B-Corp Brand within menstrual health, and as we continue to grow, we're looking for an Account Manager who is excited by both the commercial opportunity and the social impact of this work.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their commercial career who wants to grow a purpose-led brand in retail. You'll work closely with the Head of Retail to support key accounts, analyse sales performance, and help expand Mooncup's presence across the UK and international markets. From understanding EPOS data to strengthening retailer relationships and improving in-store execution, you'll play an important role in helping Mooncup reach more people. If you enjoy combining data, relationships and commercial thinking, this role offers the chance to make a real impact while developing your career in FMCG.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting key retail accounts, working alongside the Head of Retail and marketing to support accounts, ensuring strong relationships, smooth communication and excellent product availability.
  • Constantly seeking out new opportunities, both in the UK & International. Bring curiosity and energy to the role, actively looking for ways to grow distribution, unlock new opportunities and strengthen partnerships.
  • Collaborate with marketing on trade plans and in-store activations to drive visibility, disrupt the category and rate of sale.
  • Turning data into valuable insight for internal and external teams. Analyse weekly EPOS data and performance metrics to understand rate of sale, availability and growth opportunities, helping shape smarter commercial decisions.
  • Own key processes such as New Line Forms (NLFs), promotional proposals and our Budget Tracker, maintaining a "right first time" approach.
  • Develop relationships across buying teams, buying administrators and supply chain contacts so Mooncup becomes a trusted and easy-to-work-with partner.
  • Use store feedback, data and field insights to improve shelf presence, compliance and visibility for Mooncup products.
  • Collaborate with our operations team to ensure strong availability, accurate forecasting and NPD pipelines.

What We're Looking For

  • Commercial Curiosity: You enjoy understanding how products perform and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • FMCG Experience: Graduate calibre with commercial experience in FMCG, preferably in grocery or retail accounts.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented: Comfortable working with spreadsheets, data and performance metrics.
  • Relationship Builder: Confident in communicating with colleagues and retail partners.
  • Organised & proactive: Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver reliably in a fast-moving environment.
  • You must have a genuine passion for our mission - we are looking for someone with a commercial head but an activist's heart, who can demonstrate their passion for sustainability, menstrual and women's health.

How Success Is Measured

  • Growth in UK & international turnover.
  • Distribution gains across key retail, pharmacy & distributor partners.
  • Strong in-store availability and compliance.
  • Forecast accuracy and supply reliability.
  • Contribution to Mooncup's positive and collaborative culture.

Why Join Mooncup?

  • Work with purpose: Help grow a brand that is transforming the period care category and challenging outdated norms.
  • Flexible working: Hybrid working and a culture that supports work-life balance.
  • Generous holiday: 25 days annual leave, rising to 29 days with four years service.
  • Health & Wellbeing: Benefits include menstrual leave, gym access and wellbeing support.
  • Inclusive Culture: We believe diverse perspectives create better businesses and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds.

Interested? We'd love to hear from you.

Application Process: Please apply by answering the cover questions in the application form, and share your CV and/or portfolio. Initial video interview with Head of Retail, followed by a set task to be presented back in person to Head of Retail & another senior team member. The final interview is a culture chat with the team members you will be working alongside.

Don't meet every single requirement? Apply anyway. We know that great candidates can come from many different backgrounds, and not everyone ticks every single box.
