The Role
The Manager, EMEA Sales Support is responsible for providing operational, commercial and administrative support to the EMEA Distribution team. This role ensures accuracy of sales and rights information, effective deal processing, seamless conference execution, administration and strong cross‑functional coordination. The position will also act as the first point of contact for external client requests, ensuring professional and timely responses while coordinating internally with relevant stakeholders. This role plays a central part in enabling the sales team to operate efficiently, maintain strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Content Operations: Support EMEA Sales Teams to enter deal opportunities and generate content availability reports for ongoing negotiations and new business discussions. Work with Senior Manager, Global Sales Support and Rights Manager to maintain accurate updates in Moonbase. Enter and verify new deal information and new content data, ensuring system accuracy and completeness. Produce interim sales cheat sheets while Moonbase development continues. Manage and update EMEA sales pitch decks, incorporating slides from global decks and create screening rooms to reflect current strategy and inventory. Maintain organisation and filing of key commercial documentation on the EMEA sales drive. Pull performance data for sales presentations and decks.
- Client & Relationship Support: Act as the first point of contact for day‑to‑day external client requests, ensuring professional, timely and accurate responses. Triage enquiries and coordinate internally with Sales, Legal, and other stakeholders as required. Manage and maintain key client lists, ensuring accuracy. Collaborate with Marketing Manager to oversee client gifting processes for EMEA Team.
- Conferences, Markets & Travel Coordination: Coordinate travel, accommodation and meeting schedules for international markets and travel to key client meetings. Support planning and execution of the sales stand at major industry markets including MIPCOM. Assist with stand logistics, materials and meeting coordination. If attending conferences, provide onsite support during events, including manning the stand.
- Financial & Administrative Oversight: Manage invoicing processes for the EMEA sales team, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Manage expense reports for Head of Distribution. Support preparation of documentation for internal and external meetings. Provide ad hoc administrative support as required to ensure smooth commercial operations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal teams. Ensure alignment between sales materials, rights information and contractual terms. Proactively identify and elevate data inconsistencies or process gaps.
Requirements
Essential: Experience in Sales Support, Commercial Operations, Distribution or similar role. Experience managing external stakeholder or client communications. Experience working with CRM/databases and managing deal data. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Experience managing invoicing and expense processes. Advanced PowerPoint and strong Excel skills. Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work full-time onsite in London.
Desirable: Experience in media/content distribution or rights-based businesses. Experience supporting international markets or conferences. Familiarity with rights management systems.
