We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our growing Brand Partnerships Production team in London. In this role, you will take the lead on bidding, scheduling, and managing both prospective and active premium Brand Partnerships projects, as well as actively supporting the Studio Production team on experimental, development and research projects, pairing strategy and collaboration on complex projects with multiple stakeholders. This is a pivotal position that requires a strategic problem-solver with a deep understanding of CGI and 2D animation pipelines, ideally paired with live-action experience. You will oversee projects from initial pre-production through to final delivery, identifying, vetting, and negotiating with top-tier global vendors across animation studios, post-production houses, audio facilities, and live-action crews.

Operating in a fast-paced, digital-first environment, you will work closely with internal creative and production teams, including music, post production and live action to protect the creative integrity of our series and IPs while ensuring everything lands on time and on budget. If you are a highly organised, adaptable production expert who thrives on finding creative structural solutions to production challenges, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Production Management: Lead the scoping, bidding, scheduling, and full execution of CGI animated series, 2D animation, AI generated and live-action brand partnership projects.
  • Vendor & Studio Management: Source, negotiate with, and manage external animation studios, post-production facilities, and freelance crews globally, ensuring strict adherence to delivery milestones.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage complex project budgets, cost tracking, and resource allocation, finding creative ways to optimize schedules and budgets to align with client needs.
  • Stakeholder & Client Liaison: Act as a key production contact for external brand clients and internal stakeholders, managing expectations, presenting updates, and navigating feedback smoothly.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Moonbug's internal creative directors, writers, and post-production teams to realise the creative vision of each franchise.
  • Global Operations: Coordinate seamlessly across multiple international time zones (particularly UK and US) to manage distributed animation and post-production workflows.
  • Strategic Support: Assist the Senior Director, Animation on strategic research projects, partnering with Moonbug’s technical teams to innovate production workflows.
Requirements
  • Proven Production Experience: Significant track record as a Producer or Production Manager, with essential experience delivering long or short-form CGI animated series. Live-action and 2D animation experience is highly advantageous.
  • Pipeline Expertise: A strong technical understanding of animation and visual post-production pipelines, with a history of successfully managing external animation studios.
  • Commercial & Negotiation Skills: Excellent budget management, cost tracking, and vendor negotiation skills, with the ability to build clear, accurate production bids from scratch.
  • Client-Facing Confidence: Experience managing external client relationships and presenting production solutions to senior brand stakeholders.
  • Industry Network: A strong existing network of freelance talent, audio/music facilities, and animation studio contacts.
  • Adaptable & Organised: Exceptional time management skills with the ability to work autonomously, pivot quickly, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
