The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Creative Lead to head our in-house Brand Creative team. This pivotal role involves defining and elevating our brand and marketing visual identity, ensuring consistency, innovation, and strategic impact across all touchpoints.
You will be a hands-on leader and an exceptional designer, inspiring a talented team to produce outstanding work that resonates with our audiences. Working closely with the Creative Director, you will help shape and grow beloved kids' brands. You will work on marketing campaigns, brand identities, game and app launches, music releases, and more. The role requires broad creative experience in both print and digital media.
ResponsibilitiesStrategy
- Develop and champion the overarching creative vision for all brand and marketing design initiatives.
- Maintain high creative standards, ensuring all output is on-brand, visually compelling, and aligned with strategic goals.
- Lead specific campaigns, ensuring creative excellence and impact.
- Translate business objectives into compelling creative solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices.
- Define design systems, principles, and support long-term brand evolution.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of talented designers, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Provide feedback, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
- Manage workload, resources, and ensure timely, budget-compliant project delivery.
- Conduct performance reviews and support career growth.
- Promote a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Hands-on Design & Execution
- Act as lead designer on key projects, demonstrating exceptional design skills.
- Oversee the entire design process from concept to delivery.
- Participate in major marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Refine brand guidelines for consistent application.
- Present concepts and strategies to stakeholders, incorporating feedback.
- Drive the creation of comprehensive brand assets.
Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing and internal teams to understand needs and deliver impactful design solutions.
- Manage external agencies and freelancers, ensuring quality.
- Communicate design concepts effectively to non-design stakeholders.
- Approve third-party and partner designs.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive design experience, including at least 2+ years in a leadership role within an in-house or agency setting.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating diverse projects and impactful creative solutions.
- Experience in developing visual identities and logo design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma/Sketch.
- Solid understanding of branding, marketing strategies, and user-centered design.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership, mentorship, and motivation abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with art directing motion & video, storyboarding, or scriptwriting.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Monday, Frame.io, Lucid Link).
- Experience in the entertainment industry or with kids’ brands.
- Understanding of web design principles and UX/UI best practices.
- Interest in AI technologies.
