The Role

Join the Consumer Products & Experiences International (CP&E Int’l) team based in London to be part of the Consumer Products Retail Marketing team reporting to the Retail Marketing director and working closely with commercial and franchise team members. The main objective of the role is to drive awareness and sell‑through of consumer products across all touch points, with a focus on retail, across key EMEA and APAC countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute consumer‑products retail marketing campaigns and activities to drive awareness and sell‑through across omni‑channel product distribution from ideation to day‑to‑day execution.
  • Develop relationships with key partners, including retailers and licensees.
  • Support the development of retail marketing strategies for identified markets.
  • Lead consumer‑products retail marketing campaigns and product launches across identified countries from ideation to execution, including post‑campaign analysis and budget management.
  • Track and optimise paid advertising campaigns with selected retailers and licensees.
  • Brief creative teams for campaigns and asset creation (POS displays, social media posts, video retail creatives, digital assets, localised creatives), ensuring all marketing materials align with brand identity and guidelines.
  • Lead Amazon shop creative with product updates and Amazon paid media.
  • Manage influencer marketing: identify, negotiate, and manage paid and organic influencers and agencies.
  • Lead the B2C newsletter project for the UK market from ideation to execution.
  • Seek new marketing opportunities to drive consumer‑products awareness with key retailers and licensees.
  • Expand knowledge of the latest media and retail trends.
  • Build strong relationships with marketing and commercial teams across key retailers, licensees, and agents to support sell‑in marketing ideas and campaigns.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including marketing teams of other lines of business, legal, paid media, and creative teams, to represent the consumer‑products & retail marketing team.
  • Collaborate with the wider CPE team and cross‑functional Moonbug teams to support and drive integrated marketing campaigns, including sourcing competition prizes and collaborating with Content Distribution and Gaming teams.
  • Prepare retail marketing pitch decks to support sell‑in and joint‑business planning with licensees and retailers.
  • Provide data and insights to develop consumer profiles.
  • Lead the development of franchise calendars for key countries, covering all LOBs such as content, gaming, experiences, events, product launches, retail marketing campaigns, and tentpoles.
  • Analyse markets and competitors to stay current and develop innovative competitive retail marketing campaigns.
  • Attend trade shows, trainings, conferences, and marketing events to stay up‑to‑date and cultivate business relationships.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant licensing, product, and/or retail marketing experience in a similar role, preferably from entertainment brands with multiple consumer touchpoints.
  • Experience in operational marketing and an omnichannel approach.
  • Knowledge and experience of organic and paid social media.
  • Self‑starter with a positive, can‑do attitude.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Cross‑functional teamwork skills and ability to navigate and connect the dots.
  • Thrives in fast‑paced environments, demonstrating high adaptability to shifting priorities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting several team members in multiple locations and time zones.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
  • Knowledge of international markets (EMEA and APAC) and confidence to work across multi‑cultural environments.
  • Knowledge of an additional language to English is an advantage.
  • Amazon AMS knowledge and experience.
