You will support Surveying Managers and Project Managers across diverse survey projects, including topographic, utility, laser scanning, and data processing tasks. You will plan and execute jobs of various sizes, adapt to challenges, and escalate issues when needed. Strong communication skills are essential for briefing teams and liaising with clients. Projects span a wide variety of sectors. A full driving licence, flexibility, travel, and working outdoors in all conditions are essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for undertaking utility or topographical surveys (depending on your skillset)
- Manhole lifting and assisting with the observations and measurements
- Locating utilities via electromagnetic locators and ground penetrating radar
- Total station and GPS/GNSS observations
- Create Utility Survey drawings and Reports
- Production of CAD Drawings from Survey Data
- Post Processing of GPR Data
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties that may arise
- Mentor and train less experienced team members as and when required
- Management and maintenance of survey equipment
- Assistance in the overall development of the survey department
- Adherence to Company manuals and processes
- Ensure QA/QC Compliance
OTHER ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Being fully aware of and actively complying with companies policies and procedures relevant to your own responsibilities
- Keep equipment and your work area clean and tidy as far as reasonably possible.
- Performing any other reasonable duties as directed by line management.

- Experience using CAD software
- Understanding of PAS128 Standards
- Full UK driving licence
