Looking for a role with pace, purpose, and people at the heart of it? If you enjoy meeting new people, working as part of a motivated team, and being out and about rather than behind a desk — and you want your work to actually mean something — this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
Moon Moments is recruiting on behalf of a growing London-based client that is expanding its Pop-Up Events team. They deliver face-to-face fundraising and awareness campaigns on behalf of some of the UK's most impactful non-profit organisations — helping charities grow their supporter base and fund the work that makes a real difference to people's lives.
They are looking for enthusiastic, confident individuals to represent these campaigns at retail promotions, shopping centres, branded pop-up events, and other high-footfall venues across London. This is a face-to-face customer engagement role where you'll introduce members of the public to the charitable causes you represent, inspire them to get involved, and help create the supporter relationships that keep these organisations running. Every day brings a different location, different people, and a genuine opportunity to make a meaningful contribution — while building your confidence and communication skills at the same time.
No previous experience is required. Full training and ongoing support are provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain practical experience while developing valuable transferable skills.
What You'll Be Doing
- Representing non-profit campaigns at retail pop-up events, shopping centres, promotional stands, and branded activations
- Welcoming members of the public and starting friendly, engaging conversations about the causes you represent
- Communicating the mission and impact of the charities you work with in a clear and inspiring way
- Answering questions and providing accurate information about campaigns, causes, and ways to get involved
- Supporting donor registrations, enquiries, and sign-ups where appropriate
- Assisting with the setup and presentation of promotional displays and event spaces
- Creating positive, memorable interactions that encourage genuine engagement and long-term supporter relationships
- Working closely with teammates to achieve daily and weekly fundraising and awareness goals
- Attending regular product training, coaching sessions, and team meetings
Who We're Looking For
This opportunity could be ideal if you are:
- Passionate about making a positive difference, and motivated by work that has a real-world impact
- Confident speaking with new people
- Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic
- Comfortable working in busy, customer-facing environments
- Motivated by goals and personal development
- Reliable with a positive attitude
- Eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills
Candidates with experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, events, promotions, volunteering, sports, or graduates looking to gain commercial experience are all encouraged to apply. Full training is provided from day one.
What You'll Gain
Our client is committed to developing people as well as delivering successful campaigns. In this role, you'll be doing more than just hitting targets — you'll be helping fund the vital work of non-profit organisations whose impact is felt by communities across the country. Alongside that sense of purpose, you'll have the opportunity to build skills that can benefit you throughout your career, including:
- Face-to-face customer engagement and fundraising experience
- Confident communication across a wide range of audiences
- Professional presentation and storytelling techniques
- Teamwork and informal leadership development
- Goal setting and performance management
