Kick-Start Your Sales Career in Birmingham, with Full Training from Day One

Birmingham is one of the youngest, most diverse and fastest-growing cities in the UK, and our client is growing with it.

If you enjoy talking to people, want to build real skills, and care more about where you're going than where you've been, this could be the role for you.

Moon Moments is recruiting on behalf of a growing client that is expanding its Birmingham sales team.

As a Brand Ambassador, you'll represent one of the UK's best-known telecoms and connectivity brands.

It's a household name trusted by millions to keep homes, families and businesses connected through mobile, superfast fibre broadband, 5G and home entertainment.

These are products almost everyone uses every day.

That means you're not selling something people don't need.

You're helping them get a better deal and a better connection for the things that matter: staying in touch with family, working from home, streaming, gaming and running a business.

No previous sales experience is needed. Our client is looking for people with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and the confidence to grow.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be the friendly face of a major connectivity brand, meeting customers face-to-face across Birmingham where they shop, work or live.

Your day-to-day may include

  • Starting conversations with customers and finding out how they use their phone, broadband and home entertainment
  • Recommending the right mobile, broadband or bundle package for each customer, household or business
  • Explaining plans, offers and technology such as 5G and full fibre in a clear, jargon-free way
  • Answering questions and giving customers a great experience of the brand
  • Guiding customers through the sign-up process where appropriate
  • Building genuine rapport with people from all walks of life across the city
  • Working towards individual and team sales and customer engagement goals
  • Representing a major brand with professionalism and pride
  • Taking part in daily coaching, product training and team meetings
  • Continuously developing your sales, communication and customer service skills
  • Who We're Looking For

This role could be a great fit if you are

  • A natural chatter, or someone keen to build their confidence
  • Friendly, down-to-earth and approachable
  • Interested in tech, gadgets or how people stay connected (a bonus, not a must)
  • Motivated by personal growth, earning potential and career progression
  • Comfortable in customer-facing roles and happy to be out and about on your feet
  • Reliable, positive and eager to learn
  • A team player who enjoys working with others

Speak another language?

Birmingham is one of the most multicultural cities in the UK, and being able to chat with customers in their first language is a real advantage.

It isn't essential, but it's a big plus.

We'd especially love to hear from people with experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, promotions or sport. Full training is provided from day one.

Training & Development

Our client believes great salespeople are made, not born. You'll receive ongoing coaching and practical training, including:

  • Face-to-face sales techniques
  • Product knowledge across mobile, broadband, 5G and home entertainment
  • Customer engagement and relationship building
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Objection handling and problem solving
  • Goal setting and performance development
  • Team collaboration and leadership skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Total earnings range between £1,935 - £2000 per calendar month, made up of a base salary plus uncapped performance-based commission (subject to successful completion of a four-week probationary period).
  • Full product and sales training
  • Ongoing coaching and mentorship
  • Clear progression opportunities based on performance
  • Recognition and incentive programmes
  • Supportive, energetic and collaborative team
